All eyes were on her as she arrived on the red carpet of the 91st Academy Awards . After Valentino and Celine , Lady Gaga opted for a memorable Alexander McQueen strapless dress on the red carpet. With her hips accented and her impressive train, the singer made a sensation in front of the photographers. But it's not his outfit that made the buzz. The performer of "Shallow" paid tribute to Audrey Hepburn during the promotion of his film Breakfast at Tiffany's ( Diamonds on Sofa ) in 1960, both for her hair and her necklace Tiffany & Co. of 128 carats of diamonds. A jewel of exception and ultra precious including a yellow pebble XXL discovered in 1877. In its history, the jewel estimated at 30 million dollars has thus been exhibited on very few occasions: during the universal exhibition in 1983, or at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris in the 90s, as revealed by Vogue . It was only worn by three women: the British socialite Mrs. Mary Whitehouse , Audrey Hepburn at the Breakfast at Tiffany's preview, and finally, 58 years later, Lady Gaga at the Oscars. A fashion moment that has already entered the story.
