Taylor Swift's new music dips into her archives as she releases re-recordings and brand new tracks from her first albums.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-releasing-new-album-evermore-folklore" target="_blank">Taylor Swift</a> announces&nbsp;to fans that&nbsp;her first re-recorded single &quot;Love Story (Taylor&#39;s Version)&quot; will drop at midnight tonight, and&nbsp;her first re-recorded album,&nbsp;Fearless (Taylor&#39;s Version),&nbsp;will be released in April.

The singer took to her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CLJzk9MjcCe/" target="_blank">Instagram</a> to share the news with her fans, writing, &quot;I&#39;ve decided I want you to have the full story, see the entire vivid picture, and let you into the entire dreamscape that is my&nbsp;Fearless&nbsp;album.&quot;

The re-release will include 26 songs, including six&nbsp;never-before released ones.&nbsp;&quot;This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could&#39;ve imagined and has made me even more determined to rerecord all my old music,&quot;&nbsp;Swift&nbsp;writes in her post.

Swift fans have been anciticipating this re-release for a while now.&nbsp;In 2019, Swift engaged in <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/16/arts/music/taylor-swift-scooter-braun-masters.html" target="_blank">a public battle</a> with her former record&nbsp;label Big Machine Records, when its founder Scott Borchetta sold the label and the rights to Swift&#39;s master recordings of her first six albums to Scooter Braun (owner of Ithaca Holdings and celebrity manager of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/justin-bieber-documentary-series-seasons-review" target="_blank">Justin Bieber</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/kim-kardashian-kanye-west-are-getting-divorced" target="_blank">Kanye West</a>, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/shocking-celebrity-tattoos-miley-cyrus-justin-bieber" target="_blank">Ariana Grande</a>, to name a few). Swift told her <a href="https://taylorswift.tumblr.com/post/185958366550/for-years-i-asked-pleaded-for-a-chance-to-own-my" target="_blank">Tumblr</a> fans&nbsp;at the time that this&nbsp;was&nbsp;her &quot;worst nightmare,&quot; and claimed she had been subject to&nbsp;&quot;incessant, manipulative bullying&quot; on behalf of Braun and his clients throughout the years.

Shortly after, Swift announced to CBS Sunday Morning that she planned&nbsp;to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/why-is-taylor-swift-re-recording-old-albums" target="_blank">re-record all her old music</a>, starting with albums one to five in November 2020.

Her Instagram post today (which&nbsp;includes plenty of clues that Swifties have already started decoding)&nbsp;marks the beginning of a new chapter for Swift, as she looks back on her decade-long career with a new vision for her music.
