Unfortunately, he died with only seven years of marriage, making her a widow at 39. She married twice after the death of her second husband, the last being 20 years younger, both ending in divorce.

The Harkness&#39;s home in Rhode Island, Holiday House , has become a hub for social events in the city, as the couple held lively parties most weekends. These continued after her husband&#39;s death, with guests including Andy Warhol, JD Salinger and even Salvador Dali.

In The Last Great American Dynasty, Swift not only describes all these antics, but also makes comparisons between her and the former owner of her home.

When Swift bought the property in 2013 for $ 17 million, it was reported that her neighbors were concerned that she might bring media attention to the small town - which she did.
