America's most famous former heiress has accepted her fiancé Carter Reum's marriage proposal. Officially engaged and happy, her sister Nicky Hilton will accompany her

Paris Hilton gets married. Venture capitalist Carter Reum, 40, made his proposal to the former heiress of the popular hotel chain, 40, on a private island on February 13 after dating for a year. Reum asked the question with an emerald cut diamond ring designed by Jean Dousset.

On Wednesday on Instagram, Hilton shared the good news along with photos of her engagement, writing, &quot;When you find your soul mate, you just don&#39;t know. You feel it.&quot; He shared that Reum knelt down after having dinner on the beach and added, &quot;I said yes, yes forever ❤️ There is no one I would rather spend eternity with.&quot;

&quot;I am excited for this next chapter and to have such a supportive partner,&quot; Paris said in a recent interview. &ldquo;Our relationship is equal. We make ourselves better people. It was absolutely worth the wait! &quot;In the photos of the proposal, the DJ and entrepreneur is seen wearing a white Retrofete suit , a Loschy crown and rhinestone gloves. His sister, Nicky Hilton , was present and wearing a cheetah dress.

Hilton and Reum have long talked about getting married. In January, the former Simple Life reality star (when she was still friends with Nicole Ritchie ) said she had even undergone IVF to have a child with Reum.

&quot;He&#39;s just the guy of my dreams ... [Carter] 100 percent,&quot; she said on Maria Schiavocampo&#39;s podcast. &quot;We talk about [organizing a wedding] all the time and planning our baby&#39;s names and all.&quot;

This would be Hilton&#39;s first wedding, although she has been engaged in the past. She and ex-boyfriend Chris Zylka canceled their engagement in November 2018.
