Some members of British royalty are more popular than others. A new survey carried out by the Stem4 organization in England found that Queen Elizabeth II is the most respected among young people. She topped the list with 26% and was followed by a big surprise: Megan Markle and Prince Harry with 21% in second place!
Even with the controversies, interviews and Harry's departure from royalty, the participants revealed that they find the couple resilient. "They are brave and even when things go wrong, they keep going," revealed some of those interviewed.
The survey was conducted to find out what young people, ages 13 to 25, thought of royalty. Dr. Nihara Krause, CEO of stem4, explained in a statement that “to earn the respect of today's youth, you don't need to earn a fortune or look good. It is much more important that you show bravery, resilience and compassion for others and for nature. These are certainly qualities the Queen shares with some of the other names on the list, such as David Attenborough and Marcus Rashford. ”
Kate Middleton and Prince William were left with just 11%. Having a low popularity on the Internet, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge put a new plan of action to improve their images. They even launched a YouTube channel and changed their Instagram username to get a better dialogue with all generations!
