The pop star releases the fourth single and its music video from her upcoming second studio album out July 30.

<a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/pop-culture/billie-eilish-new-book-available-in-may">Billie Eilish</a> refuses to miss.&nbsp;The artist drops her new single &ldquo;Lost Cause&rdquo; and its music video in anticipation of her second studio album,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2dRcipMCpw">Happier Than Ever</a>, which is out July 30 from Darkroom/Interscope Records.&nbsp;Already released from the 16-track album are her singles &ldquo;My Future,&rdquo; &ldquo;Your Power,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Therefore I Am.&rdquo;

Directed by the &ldquo;Bad Guy&rdquo; singer herself, the &ldquo;Lost Cause&rdquo; music video proves that Eilish knows how to take the reigns and directly execute her visions, also seen through the music video for &ldquo;Your Power,&rdquo; which was her first time directing.

&ldquo;Lost Cause&rdquo; features Eilish in a house partying with a group of close friends&ndash;dancing, playing games, eating&ndash;and seemingly poking fun at the subject of the song. For wardrobe, Eilish chose Skims, Kim Kardashian&rsquo;s shapewear brand. The two were seen interacting&nbsp;on social media in support of one another.&nbsp;

Along with her brother, producer and songwriter Finneas, Eilish composed &ldquo;Lost Cause&rdquo; to be bass and rhythm-based with jazz-inspired vocals that capture the ASMR-like qualities of her voice. &ldquo;You ain&#39;t nothin&#39; but a lost cause / And this ain&#39;t nothin&#39; like it once was / I know you think you&#39;rе such an outlaw / But you got no job,&rdquo; she sings in a compilation of videos of the group dancing, laughing, and shooting each other with water guns.

Some might say Eilish has been busy since the release of her debut album,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJBUWZsT38c&amp;list=PLMSmPqvJ6siJwH_c2H_N8j9JqDt8ogyny">When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,</a>&nbsp;in 2019. At just 19 years old, she has already won seven Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music awards, and two Brit Awards. She made history in 2020 when she became the youngest artist to win in the four main Grammy categories of Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. She also co-wrote and performed &ldquo;No Time to Die&rdquo; for the 2021 James Bond film of the same name, and in February, her documentary,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf2EzBQiTr8">Billie Eilish: The World&rsquo;s a Little Blurry</a>, was released. Recently, she also published a book in May about her life called Billie Eilish&nbsp;which serves as a visual journey through her life and career.

Although Eilish has a long career ahead of her, she has already accomplished what most artists only dream of achieving. One thing&rsquo;s for sure: we can&rsquo;t wait until July 30.
