Almost three years after they split up, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are negotiating marital status, according to " The Blast ." This will allow them to continue discussing the terms of their divorce as long as they do not carry the status of "husband and wife" any longer.
A source said the two actors, who have been together for more than a decade, want to continue their lives and no longer want to marry.
The two would have met in recent months - once in September 2018, which was said to have gone well again in January - to discuss the divorce agreements but have come to no conclusion.
The complexity of splitting finances is probably what is slowing this process, although compromising parenting seems to have been another challenge for the couple. The purpose of the September meeting was to discuss the children and plans to raise them.
"It's the first time they really come together to make things work from group therapy with children," a source told Entertainment Tonight.
