A lush wall of flowers, palm trees and dense jungle vegetation forms the backdrop to the spotted catwalk. When the lights come on and the Caribbean summer hit 2019 starts it's time to dance. Because Dolce & Gabbana's spring-summer 2020 is a triumph of tropical mood and Sicilian charm. "We called it Sicilian tropical," explained Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana backstage. «We wanted fun and joy. This is our idea of a naive jungle ». Where spotted coats run after pin-up retro graphics, where the fifties mix with Cuban crime, where the flowered play with college silhouette. In a funny symphony of light silks and tailoring fabrics, of sporty traces and Baroque friezes, of boxer dressing gowns and afternoon beach sarongs, of savannah imprimé and pinstripes by Sicilian tailoring doc. In a triumph of holiday atmosphere, underlined by the sound of Jambo, contagious catchphrase of Takagi & Ketra feat Giusy Ferreri and Omi that transforms the Metropol hall into a great summer festival.
