According to&nbsp;&nbsp;Variety,&nbsp;Jacqueline Hoyt, writer and producer of shows like&nbsp;The Leftovers&nbsp;and&nbsp;The Good Wife, is currently developing the series,&nbsp;Audrey. The show&#39;s basis is a concept developed by Hepburn&#39;s son Luca Dotti and journalist&nbsp;Luigi Spinola. The&nbsp;Italian production firm Wildside, the Fremantle company behind&nbsp;The Young Pope&nbsp;and&nbsp;My Brilliant Friend, is responsible for bringing the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/old-hollywood-actress-beauty-tips-makeup-skincare-marilyn-monroe-audrey-hepburn" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Old Hollywood</a><a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/Fashion/best-movie-couple-celebs-valentine-day-film">&nbsp;</a>legend&#39;s story to the small screen.

Dotti and Spinola previously co-wrote the book&nbsp;Audrey at Home, which combined stories of Hepburn&#39;s life with&igrave; recipes, she enjoyed. The style icon was also the subject of a recent documentary, also titled&nbsp;Audrey,&nbsp;discussing her life and career. The film featured her son from her first marriage, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, and her granddaughter, Emma Ferrer.

However, unlike the documentary and book, the series&nbsp;Audrey&nbsp;plans to depict Hepburn from a completely different angle. Wildside said in a vague statement that while&nbsp;Audrey at Home&nbsp;highlighted &quot;the singularity of Audrey&rsquo;s real self,&quot; this new series will dive deeper into the actress&#39; &quot;formative years,&quot; giving no further explanation.

&ldquo;For&nbsp;Audrey,&nbsp;our goal is once again to produce a show that is born locally to deliver globally,&rdquo; explained Fremantle COO Andrea Scrosati. &ldquo;The creative team assembled by Wildside and the IP are perfectly positioned to make this happen.&quot;

After starring on Broadway in 1951 in the titular role of&nbsp;Gigi, Hepburn broke into the Hollywood set with her performance in&nbsp;Roman Holiday, which made her the first actress to ever win an Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA for the same role. In her career also received an Emmy, a Grammy, a Tony, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.&nbsp;Even after her death in 1993, film and fashion scholars alike remember the legacy&nbsp;&nbsp;she left on generations that succeeded her.
