From Des Phemmes by Salvo Rizzo to CHB , the brand of Christian Boaro to the new project by Marco De Vincenzo: the <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/milan-fashion-week-hilights">Milan Fashion Week</a> Fall Winter 2022-23 is full of new talents and emerging designers. A new wave of Italian designers who are redefining the fashion landscape in Milan. During the women's fashion week, many names have presented their projects alongside the <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/fendi-versace-fendace-collaboration-fashion-made-in-italy">big brands</a>, proposing new, young and fresh fashion. That this season would be full of news was in the air. Already in the immediately preceding seasons, those defined as phygital, the Milanese fashion week had already been a physical and metaphorical stage for new designers who appeared for the first time or almost on the scene. They often opt for the presentation format, which allows a direct and as close contact with the creative universe of the brand and sometimes with the designer himself. Interesting creative projects that are creating new spaces for expression, redefining certain boundaries and making Milan the flagship of a new generation of talents. Italian fashion, beyond all the officialism, the big names, the heritage and the Italian spirit, still has a lot to say and enjoys new generations who have the creative ability and an open gaze to propose new narrative territories to the public.

Milan Fashion Week

At the ADI Design Museum Marco Rambaldi opened the dances, then other names supported by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion paraded and as many presented their collections during the days of fashion week, such as Francesco Murano, Budapest Select, Tokyo James, Quira . The conversation around the work of these new talents should focus more on the impact they are having on the course of things than on the products themselves, certainly artisanal products and therefore perfectly imperfect. Certainly they are often dressed closer to a fresh, freer, less traditional aesthetic and therefore more in the hearts of a young audience, who rediscover their identity in these clothes and in the stories they transmit.

Alessandro Enriquez

For his FW 2022-23 collection Alessandro Enriquez, a brand founded in 2019 by a young designer with a Sicilian soul, is inspired by the tradition of "Italian Music" and celebrates the Sanremo Italian Song Festival. Bright colors and prints, jacquard fabrics: an all-Italian enthusiasm invades the collection and the rooms of Giacomo Caff&egrave; at Palazzo Reale where it was presented. A mixture of ideas and worlds, as well as style: sweatshirt and t-shirt coexist with color block suits, as well as printing and embroidery. The collaboration between Enriquez and Mattel also continues, whose iconic Hot Wheels cars this time run on the pentagram of love designed by Alessandro on the clothes. As I said, there is a lot: framing the collection of prints with iconic faces of Italian music from Raffaella Carr&agrave; to Rino Gaetano, part of the Roman Farabola photographic archive on which Alessandro left some of his personal drawings; but again the maestro Beppe Vessicchio literally gave Alessandro some graphics from his scores to insert them on the clothes that interact with phrases designed ad hoc for him by Orietta Berti.

Des_Phemmes

Salvo Rizza's is a universe of sexyness, which arises from the tension between opposite poles: masculine and feminine, saturated colors and neutral colors, naked and covered. Go from mesh and vinyl skirts to men's shirts to cable knit sweaters. Craftsmanship (all garments are made by laboratories in Turin) and attention to a fashion that is as <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/celebrities-style-sustainable-jeans-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">conscious</a> as possible. Irony and color, bold materials and perfectly mixed together: in its second effective collection <a href="https://www.instagram.com/desphemmes/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Des_Phemmes</a> becomes recognizable and identifying, the spokesperson for a self-confident woman, who now, more than ever, wants to go out, wear something that sparkles and dance. The tye-dye, a key element, also returns in this collection on different shapes and proportions, such as the classic t-shirts with applications or longette skirts and coats. Comfy and confident: the Des_Phemmes woman is summed up in these two words.

CHB

Christian Boaro dreamed of being a tailor. His FW22 collection is the expression of this dream. Sartorial ability, without measure and volume, neutral shades that do not stray too far from the black color. A measured elegance, but free: first of all in the casting, interesting in the faces and in the expressiveness of models who interpret the clothes they wear. And then again the evolution of tailoring, with soft volumes and materials ranging from classic Chantilly lace, to batutto velvet to metal nets.
