Lady Whistledown isn't putting her quill down just yet. After the success of <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/film-tv/bridgerton-season-2-teaser-spoilers-trailer-netflix-streaming" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Season 2</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/bridgerton-style-dresses-regency-fashion-summer-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bridgerton</a>&nbsp;has been <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/film-tv/bridgerton-new-upcoming-seasons-three-four-netflix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">renewed for a third and fourth season</a>. The drama of London's richest families continues on, and Lady Whistledown has her eyes on it all. From scandalous affairs to dramatic deaths to unforeseen pairings, the ton cannot stay away from the drama. As we leave the tumultuous, yet love-stricken events of Season 2 behind, here's everything you need to know about Bridgerton&nbsp;Season 3.&nbsp;

What Will Season 3 Be About?&nbsp;

Each season of the iconic series focuses on a different member of the Bridgerton family. In Season 1, our Diamond of the First Water Daphne was the show's focus. Watchers followed her as she navigated her first season, and found true love. In Season 2, the eldest Bridgerton child got all the attention. As Anthony explored his romance with Kate Sharma and dealt with the hardships of trying to do right by his family, audiences fell in love with his determination and watched as he battled his inner demons.&nbsp;
For Season 3, show creator <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/simone-ashley-and-the-new-style-reference-to-keep-an-eye" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shonda Rhimes</a> has said she doesn't know if she'll follow the order of the book series.&nbsp;Bridgerton&nbsp;is based on the series by Julia Quinn. In the third book, Quinn shares Benedict's story and dives into his romance with Sophie Beckett. However, in an interview with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/bridgerton-who-will-be-the-focus-of-season-3-shonda-rhimes-and-chris-van-dusen-weigh-in-exclusive?utm_source=pocket_mylist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Entertainment Tonight</a>, Rhimes said, "There's eight Bridgerton siblings, so we're planning on following each one of the siblings' romantic stories. We're not necessarily going in order but we are going to be seeing each of the siblings and their stories." As of now, it's rumored the new season will follow either Eloise, Benedict, or Colin's stories. Each sibling had their own subplot in Season 2, hinting that there might be an expansion to their stories in Season 3.&nbsp;

As for the cast, most of the original group is set to return. In an interview with&nbsp;Deadline, <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/simone-ashley-and-the-new-style-reference-to-keep-an-eye" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Simone Ashley</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/film-tv/bridgerton-season-2-teaser-spoilers-trailer-netflix-streaming" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jonathan Bailey</a> confirmed their return to the series. Ashley said in her interview, "Kate and Anthony are just getting started." As for the rest of the Bridgerton family, Luke Thompson, <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/phoebe-dynevor-best-fashion-moments-daphne-bridgerton-louis-vuitton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Phoebe Dynevor</a>, Claudia Jessie, and Luke Newton are guaranteed to return, although nothing has been officially announced. Other favorites, such as <a href="https://www.lofficiel.co.uk/fashion/bridgerton-nicola-coughlan-lady-whistletdown-style-instagram-penelope" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nicola Coughlan</a>, Adjoa Andoh, and Golda Rosheuvel are rumored to be returning as well.&nbsp;

The new season may come out earlier than expected. Rhimes shared in the same interview with&nbsp;Entertainment Tonight&nbsp;that Season 3 is already in the works. "[We] got a little bit creative so we're already hard at work writing Season 3. [...] That is already in progress and you'll see. Give it time," the Rhimes said.&nbsp;
Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, gave a hint as to when the show is set to start shooting. The actress told&nbsp;WWD that her summer plans will more than likely be taken over by her filming schedule. If all goes to plan, fans can expect the new season to air as soon as spring or summer 2023. An official date has yet to be confirmed, but fans are still excited to see what's to come.&nbsp;
