Zimmermann presents the Fall Winter 2021 collection with a digital show entitled "In Concerto". Designer Nicky Zimmerman unveils a collection in which her passion for prints and textures emerges with a series of layered yet sophisticated looks. “This season I wanted to be inspired by the memory of an Australian music television program from the 70s and 80s called Countdown. In the suburbs where I grew up, Sunday evening, between 6pm and 7pm, represented a moment of exciting and suggestive escape, where music, fashion and the surrounding world met on the small screen. " Says Nicky Zimmermann , Director Brand creative " The program featured major international bands who were touring Australia, performing alongside established and emerging local artists, whose performances were followed by hilarious interviews with host Molly Meldrum. I loved the energy and creativity that each episode conveyed - it was so engaging! It had a very important influence on me as a teenager, a very funny memory. The themes of the collection come as much from the mood that the program aroused as from the eras it has gone through ”.

Joy and euphoria, stylized sketches of cassettes and record players, stars and musical pop-art appear on Zimmermann's jeweled dresses. Colors and textures coexist in harmony with the typical decorations, an absolute signature of Nicky Zimmerman . Golden nets, crystal buttons, oversized and glitter bows, give back a chic style to tulle dresses, while sets of silk pajamas and patent outerwear with ribbed cuffs build extravagant silhouettes with a more casual approach. In addition to the irremediable prints by Nicky Zimmerman, denim appears for the first time in the Fall Winter 2021 collection , a version of tight-fitting trousers with flared hems and patent leather inserts. Looks constructed with floating shirts adorned with ruffles and flounces, contrasted with jeans or masculine-cut trousers, worn with platform moccasins or the British Mary Jane's.
