360 degree sexyness for Mugler

Creative director Casey Cadwallader defines Mugler's fashion as conscious and multifaceted eroticism. Where everyone can express their seductiveness

We should all be sexy. If they wanted to reinvent the slogan launched by Maria Grazia Chiuri chez Dior from Mugler, this would be the result. That the fashion house has always had a strong propensity towards a mischievous aesthetic is not new. What the creative director Casey Cadwallader does, however, is to mix the seduction / perfection pair, to send various physicalities to the catwalk, each with its own code of attraction. The deep necklines, the squeezed and stripped waist, the close-fitting silhouettes are interpreted by women who reveal the body to like each other and not to please. Together with them parade men hoisted on high heels and gloved hands, likewise decided to unleash an erotic charge outside the usual patterns. After so many seasons on the verge of sexless, fashion seems to rediscover the desire for a bold elegance (see Anthony Vaccarello, with his parade to scream for Saint-Laurent). And Mugler is ready to ride the wave.
