The first Roberto Cavalli collection by Fausto Puglisi pays tribute to all the elements that made the Maison famous: audacity, extravagance, sex appeal and pop touches. Discover it together with L'Officiel

It was 1970 and a young dreamer designer launched his first collection of the same name: Roberto Cavalli (the fashion house) was born at that moment, within the walls of the Salon du Pr&ecirc;t-&agrave;-Porter in Paris, under the amazed eyes of incredulous spectators. Studs, tears, patchwork, leather and animal prints, Cavalli was the rebellious spirit of an era, soul without rules, genius without chains. Innovator of the 70s, star of the 2000s thanks to the popularity acquired among the most renowned celebs (many of which have also become testimonials of the brand, such as Rita Ora, Jessica Stam, Eva Riccobono, Laetitia Casta, Natasha Poly, Mariacarla Boscono, Karen Elson, Karol&iacute;na Kurkov&aacute;), the Maison becomes the boldly glamorous brand par excellence. Today the time has come to give the brand back its former glory, return to the origins to point the stars.

The new Fall Winter 2021 collection is the first under the creative direction of Fausto Puglisi, appointed creative director in 2020. Bold, pop, proud, femininity and its feline essence are at the center of the new line for next season, which enhances women and gives them due recognition for their strength and determination. At the center of the collection is the animalier , eternal protagonist of the Maison, which expresses the right flavor of sensuality and freedom that only large wild animals can convey. Tigers, zebras, jaguars come to life in unique clothes that stand the test of time. There are no bohemian hints, you don&#39;t get lost in respectable old men, the woman must recognize her own value, her sensuality, her sinuosity. Menswear also follows the same guidelines: it&#39;s sexy, it&#39;s provocative, it&#39;s irreverent. Distinctive features are denim and (regularly) black leather, sometimes decorated with animalier accents. The new Cavalli wants to be everything you dream of but (sometimes) you don&#39;t have the courage to have, excitedly, provocative and challenging, inviting the public to play with themselves and play with the eyes of others.&nbsp;
