The idea of a collective parade where to mix together the garments of different brands, as is done in everyday life, in Florence we had seen it with great pomp during the mega event organized by Luisa Via Roma during the previous edition of Pitti Man, for the 90 years of the boutique. What went on stage today inside the Fortezza da Basso is a less bombastic version in execution, but very effective in fact. Otherwise Formal is the show curated by Luca Guarini and Luigi Vitali of Dust Magazine who has been entrusted with the task of selecting among the proposals of various brands exhibiting at Pitti and of assembling a series of looks capable of representing the new way of interpreting the formal. A winning formula, on which Pitti Uomo would do well to bet because it offers qualitative visibility to those who otherwise would not go on the platform with their own show.
