Guests were immersed in a reimagined hot air balloon for the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2024 show.

Nicolas Ghesqui&egrave;re is the master of creating transformative worlds. Look no further than the supersized "monster flower" from Spring/Summer 2023 or the maze-like grid set in the Mus&eacute;e d&rsquo;Orsay from the season before that. For the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2024 show, guests once again experienced a transformative setting as they walked into the grandiose venue with balloon-like structures hanging upon the ceilings. A warm orange glow cast across the set as a reimagined hot air balloon, conceptualized by production designer James Chinlund, was evoked by draped sails created by Penique Productions.&nbsp;
Unlike previous seasons where Ghesqui&egrave;re centered elemental maximalism, he continues to strip back. The lineup begins with models walking in oversized bomber jackets paired with flowy skirts. The traveling ease is captured in other billowy silhouettes, be it the loose-fit button-down dresses, voluminous sleeves, or peeks of flowy fabric grazing from the sides of the pencil skirts. The contrasting prints, pale hues, and white tights added a vintage element to it all as if there were antique pieces found in your fashion-loving grandmother's closet.
But Louis Vuitton's penchant for structure was still present: strong-shouldered houndstooth jackets, layered knife pleat skirts, corseted bodices, and sculptural A-line minis. The accessories were of course exquisite, such as its bow-adorned pointed pumps, low-slung leather belts, multi-layered chain necklaces, and array of handbags.&nbsp;
Every season, Louis Vuitton attracts the cr&egrave;me de la cr&egrave;me&nbsp;of celebrity culture, and this season was no expectation. Ana de Armas, Zendaya, Jaden Smith, Jennifer Connelly, Phoebe Dyvenor, Cate Blanchett, Saoirse Ronan, and more were all in attendance.
