Simply Next Chapter. Because Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are ready to tell the next chapter of their Dolce &amp; Gabbana . A chapter, branded Autumn Winter 2021 , unveiled on the catwalk of the Metropol Theater in a parade of 140 looks, with some flash men and some special guest stars. On the platform also humanoid robots studied by the IIT-Italian Institute of Technology : an iCub and some R1, the result of the highly specialized IIT research in the field of service robotics and artificial intelligence. The mission !? To paint a future in which to marry tradition and innovation, and not only on a conceptual level . &ldquo;This season our journey has been a continuous dialogue between tradition and innovation. With a hi-tech aftertaste. &ldquo;Creating the Fall Winter 2021 collection was like going back to the beginning of our career when we combined wool with sponge or foam rubber. And the use of Artificial Intelligence has helped us to rediscover this side of us that we had forgotten a bit &quot;. And thanks to the collaboration with the IIT, the material theme of the collection and more was born. &ldquo; We have experimented on fabrics, shapes, materials and silhouettes: wool is woven with cellophane, luminescent fibers transform classic fabrics, satin is coated with paints normally used for cars, weaving has experimented with biodegradable plastic films.
