Burberry closes London Fashion Week with a Spring/Summer 2026 women&#39;s and men&#39;s collection celebrating the power of music. Special guests at the show include Elton John, Jonathan Bailey, Naomi Campbell, Jack Draper, and Rosie Huntington.

In London, under the enormous tent at Perks Field in Kensington, Burberry presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection , once again confirming Daniel Lee &#39;s desire to connect the house not only to its British sartorial heritage, but also to its musical culture: &quot;Music is self-expression, originality, and belonging. From festivals to stadiums to open-air concerts, every summer the UK comes alive with style and music,&quot; explained the creative director, who for the occasion collaborated with producer Benji B , drawing on Black Sabbath&#39;s repertoire. &quot;I think it came from spending the summer listening to them, especially after Ozzy Osbourne passed away. To be honest, it&#39;s something very personal to me: it was the music my dad listened to, one of his favorite bands. My dad was a huge Harley Davidson fan, so I grew up immersed in that culture, listening to ACDC or Metallica. But my first music festival was a Black Sabbath one,&quot; the creative director confides backstage.

&quot;It all came about at a really special time for music, with the Oasis concert, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, and of course the release of the Beatles film,&quot; she continues. &quot; I saw a wonderful Mod ballet at Sadler&#39;s Wells in June, and I think that&#39;s when I started thinking about the love affair between fashion and music and how to truly celebrate it. Going through all of that has been incredible, and I think, ultimately, musicians have always been the best.&quot; Daniel Lee thus builds a bridge between fashion and British sounds . The collection itself reimagines the concept of performance with sleek silhouettes that recall mod aesthetics, fabrics that reflect the light like a summer stage, and craftsmanship pushed to the limit. Chainmail mini dresses with color-blocked Burberry checks, trench coats woven with raffia and cotton, dresses entirely embroidered with beads or mirrors. Each look feels like a musical track, ready to blend into a playlist that unites genres and eras. Tailoring takes center stage again, with three-button jackets and regular-fit trousers, but is complemented by fluid pieces like slip dresses and sculptural skirts.

Outerwear remains the core of the maison. From the Foxfield trench coat to the Harrington jackets, to the waxed cotton parkas , each piece seems to capture the luminous humidity of a London summer. The prints recall Pamela Colman Smith&#39;s Edwardian tarot cards, with esoteric motifs and painted skies that transport the classic check into a symbolic dimension. Plum, canary, indigo, pea green, and beige structure the collection&#39;s palette, while the accessories reinforce the idea of hybridization: the new Hampstead bag, soft and deconstructed, sits alongside the Equestrian Knight models with a buckle closure, while footwear alternates python leather riding boots with sandals decorated with metal buckles. It&#39;s precisely in this space between experimentation and coherence between fashion and music that Lee&#39;s challenge lies: to transform Burberry into a brand capable of reflecting contemporary diversity without losing its British heritage. And as the banner on Burberry&#39;s The Equestrian Knight logo proclaims, &quot;Prorsum&quot; literally translates to &quot;forward.&quot; And Daniel Lee continues his progressive journey, embracing music.
