Clothing is no longer mere ornamentation: it becomes sculpture, movement, breath. Draped in silk taffeta, the silhouette moves like a living being, reacting to each step, each breath, in a constant dialogue between textile and flesh. The designer abolishes the boundaries between fashion and art. Fabrics are never static: they fall, rise, vibrate, carrying an almost organic emotional charge. From bamboo gardens to cherry blossoms, nature seems to burst forth from the body itself, embodied by meticulous embroideries blending feathers, brass, and over 37,000 Swarovski crystals, sometimes requiring up to 2,500 hours of work. Couture becomes a landscape in perpetual metamorphosis. Inspired by windows and the interplay of light and shadow they create, Miss Sohee uses the female silhouette as a frame, accommodating imagined scenes : wisteria, orchids, skies shifting from dusk to night in subtle gradations. These narratives are not confined to clothing: they extend into the surrounding space, projected onto screens and chairs, allowing the embroidery to exist as an environmental artwork, beyond the body that wears it. Hand-painting becomes an essential language of the collection. By reinterpreting the Korean mountain landscapes of Kim Hong-do, Miss Sohee applies traditional ink techniques to silk organza capes and petticoats. The translucent overlays create a hazy depth, like a print slowly dissolving into the fabric. Transparency is celebrated without restraint. Japanese organza, one of the lightest fabrics in the world, floats around the body, transformed into flowing caftans. Here, nudity is neither concealed nor provocative: it is honored. The female body is recognized as a sufficient beauty, free from any superfluous concealment. Each dress engages in a dialogue with the next. The collection is constructed like a silent conversation between textures, volumes and moods, punctuated by a subtle influence of the 1960s: simple, elegant, deliberately restrained silhouettes that give full rein to craftsmanship and the accuracy of proportions. The finale reveals an ethereal, white-bathed bridal vision. Swarovski crystals adorn a veil inspired by Korean waves, capturing the light with an almost spiritual reverence. The headdress echoes the traditional gache , once worn by Korean women. The bride envisioned by Miss Sohee embodies a powerful duality: innocent yet strong, protected yet radiant. Accessories extend this evocative world. Couture phone cases, handmade bags adorned with mother-of-pearl, fan silhouettes, and small precious objects conjure up fragments of memories.
