A sofa full of Balenciaga clothes

New York designer Harry Nuriev has created a cool sofa with Balenciaga's waste!

Attention to furniture collectors! New York designer and architect Harry Nuriev designed a striking sofa for Miami Art Basel using Balenciaga's waste and damaged clothes. Nuriev, who recently approached the issue of sustainability and has influenced the whole world with a different perspective, was inspired by the nostalgic spirit of the 90s when preparing this special design called “Balenciaga Sofa“. The first thing that comes to mind when it comes to nostalgia is his grandmother's patterns. However, Harry Nuriev chose to use transparent vinyl instead of fabric coverings for his design. "I want a nostalgic feel in my designs. But it has been modernized and technological, at once." commented Harry Nuriev. The sofa draws attention with its L-shaped form and its multiple funtionalities.
