Gucci presents "Overture of Something that Never Ended" a season consisting of 7 episodes directed by Gus Van Sant who will gradually reveal the new Alessandro Michele collection.

With the Gucci Fest, the digital and innovative festival of fashion and cinema broadcast on You Tube Fashion, Weibo, Gucci YouTube &nbsp; and inserted in the dedicated site <a href="https://www.guccifest.com/#/it" target="_blank">Guccifest.com</a> , Gus Van Sant and Alessandro Michele present the miniseries <a href="https://www.guccifest.com/#/it" target="_blank">&quot;Ouverture of Something that Never Ended&quot;.</a> Composed of seven episodes shot entirely in Rome, the new series stars film and theater actress, performer, writer and dancer Silvia Calderoni , engaged in a surreal daily routine in different scenarios of the Italian capital, while meeting a number of talents internationals and friends of the house, including: Paul B. Preciado, Achille Bonito Oliva, Billie Eilish, Darius Khonsary, Lu Han, Jeremy O. Harris, Ariana Papademetropoulos, Arlo Parks, Harry Styles, Sasha Waltz and Florence Welch . The mini-series will gradually reveal the new collection day by day. 
 
The miniseries tells: &quot;The life of a girl in Rome, day by day&quot; this is how director Gus Van Sant defines the thematic core of the series: &quot;Silvia Calderoni comes from the world of theater, she is a writer, an author, a dancer and an actress. In each episode she represents the pivot around which the stories interpreted by the other actors revolve. &quot; Alongside the famous director, the creative director Alessandro Michele: &quot; I am obsessed with the relationship between reality and fiction. Preciado , author, philosopher, curator and one of the most influential voices in gender theory. His work is a key point of reference for queer, trans and genderless communities. &ldquo;My character is a philosopher who intervenes on television to talk about the gender, sexual and anti-racist revolution we are going through right now. I am myself, in the sense that I bring my words and ideas to the stage, but on the other hand it is not exactly me because it is very difficult for a philosopher to speak on television, even more rare for him to speak looking directly into the eyes of those who are him listening at home&hellip; &quot;said Paul B. Preciado: &quot; I admire Alessandro Michele and Gus Van Sant a lot. I would define them as queer artists, to the extent that their work contributes to revolutionizing the way we understand the concepts of gender and sexuality. I am a huge lover of Gus Van Sant&#39;s films. Arlo&#39;s character leaves the bar he is in with Silvia and begins wandering the streets of Rome with a group of friends. &quot;It was my first time in this city. The climate was warm and the sky was a clear blue&quot; says Arlo about the days spent on the set: &quot;It was surreal to be directed by icons like Gus and Alessandro, their sense of humility and creativity was a real source of inspiration for me.
