From a need and a reflection by Rei Kawakubo on the fuition of information in our days comes &quot;Landscape of Shadows&quot;, the Fall Winter 2021 women&#39;s collection by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/commedesgarcons/" target="_blank">Comme des Gar&ccedil;ons.</a> &quot;Between the incessant overflow of various things, the deluge of colors, the inundation of sounds and information ...&quot; says Rei Kawakubo: &quot;... I needed to take a breath in the monochromatic serenity.&quot; clearly it is the black and white color. Much more than two simple neutral shades for the Japanese designer, creative director of Comme des Gar&ccedil;ons and founder of Dover Street Market. On the musical pieces of White Stains / Koenraad Impens , the clothes and silhouettes are structured as if they were the paintings of the abstract expressionist Franz Kline, the saturated colors disappear to make room for violent black and white contrasts. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/juliendys/" target="_blank">Julien D&#39;Ys&#39;</a> architectural hairstyles blend with the headpieces of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ibrahimkamara_/" target="_blank">Ibrahim Kamara</a> , Dazed&#39;s designer and editor in chief who worked closely with Kawakubo to create the hats for the collection.

In <a href="https://www.instagram.com/commedesgarcons/" target="_blank">the Comme des Gar&ccedil;ons</a> Fall Winter 2021 women&#39;s collection there is no shortage of collaborations for the creation of sneakers. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/salomonsportstyle/" target="_blank">Salomon</a> x CDG XA-ALPINE are trail running shoes XA-ALPINE, originally structured in lace-up and revisited for the parade in the slip-on version available in customizable black and white. The Salomon x CDG CROSS , an update of the CROSS knitted and designed with a zig zag pattern. To conclude Rei Kawakubo also presents the new NIKE x CDG HO21 Premier, a model made for the first time of shoes with heels and the upper that takes up the design of a football shoe.
